Cool Yeezy Shoes Sneakerheads Can Look Forward To

If you have been following the news lately, then you probably already know that Kanye West has been having a tumultuous time right now. From his sudden declarations of presidency and family secrets to daily tirades on Twitter, Kanye has definitely been all over the news lately.

Regardless of his situation, there’s one thing that we know – the Yeezy brand will still be strong and popular. For sneaker heads and streetwear lovers, Yeezy still remains to be the top brands in the street fashion game, especially when it comes to cool streetwear sneakers. The brand, which started way back in 2009, has evolved so much. From being just a collaboration with Nike to now one of the biggest brands in streetwear, Yeezy is definitely here to stay.

One of the most anticipated releases people having been waiting for is the Yeezy Quantum “Ophanim” sneakers. Yeezy Quantum is the brand’s first take on a performance basketball sneaker. It features a similar style with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 but has a heightened ankle collar, 3M hits and a suede overlay on the toe.

The brand announced last year that they will be releasing a lifestyle version of the Quantum. The Quantum ‘Barium’ was released a couple of months ago and is now being sold in selected retail stores. The Barium colorway features a dual-toned grey and black look, which fits perfectly with the shoes’ avant-garde design.

Another colorway ‘Ophanim’ was set to be released but have been pushed back because of the current health crisis. If you are one of the streetwear fans that have been waiting for Yeezy's cool streetwear sneakers, then you will be glad to know that it has been confirmed that the new colorway will be dropping in selected stores on September 2020.

This new colorway features a more upbeat look, adding a splash of olive and blue accents to the gray uppers. According to sources, this name is inspired from Ezekiel’s chariot in the biblical story, which had whirl-wind like wheels. If you look closely on the knit uppers, the mash-up of colors display a whirl-wind like style, making the whole look more interesting. The price tag for this pair is $250.

Aside from the Yeezy Ophanim, there are several other new Yeezy’s dropping in the next couple of months. If you are a streetwear fashion fan or a sneakerhead who likes the avant-garde design, you might also like the 380 PPR, which was also announced to be dropping in September.
